My team and I have been in Lesotho for almost two weeks now. The rest of the squad is split between Durban and Jeffreys Bay, South Africa. Lesotho is a small country landlocked inside South Africa. This county is a lot of answered prayers for our team. The first three country’s we were in city’s. Here in Lesotho, we really are in the middle of nowhere. When we crossed the boarder into this country, we had to drive another two and a half hours on bumpy dirt road. There is so much farmland and room for frolicking around. We are surrounded by beautiful mountains. Sometimes you can see lightning far in the distance and it is beautiful. The sky here is amazing, sunrise and sunset, and I will never forget the stars here. Breathtaking. I have never seen this many stars in my life. The Milky Way is so visible here. Every night here I have looked up at the sky and been in awe. Gods creation is magnificent. It really came to mind how amazing it is that the God who created absolutely everything, from stars to the Milky Way to other galaxy’s in the universe, made us and loves us most. It is so quiet here in Lesotho.

Our host here is a South African guy named Peter. The land he, and us for a short time, live on was donated land from the country for the organization we are working with. We are working with Africa 4 Jesus, and they are primarily a discipleship program. Peter is a very big advocate for spending personal time with The Lord, and this is the best place to do it. I do think this is the best country for our team to end on. There is so much opportunity for us to spend time with God and there is no WiFi, so no distractions. There is a beautiful river five minutes down the hill from where we live. We had lived here for four days, and already everyone had climbed up mountains, some even camping.

I am exited to see the how the Lord will move here. Having less than two months left on the field feels weird. We have about five weeks left over seas before going back to Atlanta, and then week of domestic ministry in North Carolina. We have the chance to grow more in these next five weeks than we have in the last seven months. Every Saturday, we have the option to go to a lodge with WiFi, and great food, so a Saturday soon is when I’ll post my next blog. Thank you guys for reading.
