I remember when day one was 100 days away like it was yesterday. Now day one is in one week from today. Its crazy how fast time flies. This whole gap year will be over before I know it, but I’ll try not to think about that just yet. To recap on these last few months, starting in May I began gathering all of my gear, and as of today I now have everything that I’ll need. It took me a few tries but I finally fit everything in my backpack. I hit 40% fundraised a few days ago! Fundraising has felt very challenging for me and I feel very blessed to have hit this mark.
I still need to raise $11,680 which I know we can do! For those of you who have finically supported me, one time and monthly, Thank you for helping me hit this milestone! Thank you for continuing to Pray for me and my squad as we are all Preparing for this life changing mission. I don’t have much else to say right now but I plan on keeping you guys updated once a week while I’m gone. If any of my squamates are reading this, I cannot wait to meet you!
