It’s been one week here at training camp. It feels like it’s been a lot longer. Our days are a mix of worship, sessions, meals, and hanging out. One week, and I already feel like my life has changed. I’ve felt Gods presence here more than I ever have.
Sessions is basically a time for someone to come in and teach about a certain topic. All of which will be very helpful out on the field. Some have been topics like, what is truth, building Identity, the voice of God, and forgiveness.
We usually start the days with a 7:45 am devotion. Breakfast has started at 8:30 am, then we will usually go into worship for an hour, followed by sessions for another hour and then lunch. Sometime after lunch we have free time and/or another session until dinner. After dinner, which is at 6:30 or 7:00, we are free until 11:00 pm. It’s been pretty back to back days but I feel very blessed to be here.
We’re sleeping in our tents and it’s actually been very comfortable.
We have party potty bathrooms, a few showers, and bucket showers. It is what is sounds like, dumping cold water on yourself from a bucket, but it’s actually awesome. It is quite the change of scenery from back home.
I’m 40% fundraised right now and my goal is 50% by September 19th. Please continue praying for me as I continue to fundraise. Thank you guys for supporting me!
